San Ferdinando is in a strategic position to discover Calabria. Lying on the Tyrrhenian coast and full of potential, with a recent but intense history, small but with great challenges ahead, it is the mirror of a true and welcoming south, capable of always renewing itself and in spite of everything.

12 reasons, among others, why it is worth knowing.

San Ferdinando is very easy to reach because it is only 10’ by car from the Rosarno railway station, 12’ by car from the A2 SA-RC motorway, 46’ by car from the internation airport of Lamezia Terme and 48’ from the airport of Reggio Calabria. In 30’ by car you can reach Tropea or Scilla or Pizzo. In 25’ by car in Palmi. And if you want to explore the Ionian side in just 37’ by car, you can get there without any problems. Even the Aspromonte Park in only 36km away.

If you like running, walking, cycling or skating, surfing or sup or canoeing or yoga, in San Ferdinando you can do it in the open air and with a view of one of the most beautiful landscape in Italy: Etna at left, Stromboli and the other Aeolian islands in the background! If you like, you can also take part in a gym session on the beach at sunrise or sunset with a local instructor (scopri di più) or take a naturalistic walk along the coast with a guide with whom you will discover hidden and wonderful corners (scopri di più). If then you decide to come and visiti t during the spring you will find yourself in front of a wonderful show: a myriad of yellow, fuchsia and purple flowers on the beach, witnesses of dreamy sunset.
